When you access our servers via our app, we automatically log standard data provided by your device, including:

  • In-app activity, time and date of usage.

  • Error Reporting: If the app encounters an error, we collect technical details (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix the problem.

Sensitive Health Information

Because Cadent is a fitness app, we collect "Special Category Data" relating to your health, specifically:

  • Exercise Logs: Details of workouts, reps, sets, and weights used.

  • Fitness Progress: Personal records and progression data.
    Consent: We will not process this health information without your explicit consent, which is obtained at the time of account creation.

2. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to power our app. These include:

  • Google Firebase / Analytics: To monitor app usage and improve features.

  • Firebase Crashlytics: To monitor app stability and fix technical bugs.

  • Apple App Store / Google Play: To manage subscriptions and process payments.

3. Storage and Security

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active. We protect your data using commercially acceptable security measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

Data Location: As a company based in the Netherlands, your data is primarily stored and processed on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA).

4. Your Rights (GDPR & UK GDPR)

Regardless of your location, you have the following rights over your data:

  • Access & Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (CSV).

  • Correction & Deletion: You may request that we correct inaccurate data or delete your account and all associated data at any time.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent for us to process your health data at any time.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (UK) or 16 (Netherlands). If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

6. Additional Disclosures for EU/EEA Users (GDPR)

  • Legal Basis: We process your data based on (1) the performance of our contract with you, (2) our legitimate interest in improving our app, and (3) your explicit consent regarding health data.
